Our tea is grown and processed at the Indulgashena Tea Garden in Sri Lanka (Ceylon), the world's first producer of certified organic tea.
All teas are from certified organic cultivation. Organic farming grew from concern about the detrimental effects that synthetic chemicals and inappropriate agricultural methods have on producers, consumers and the environment. It promotes sustainable agriculture by building and maintaining soil fertility through the use of natural biological organisms, renewable resources and agricultural practices that do not have harmful effects on the soil, the product, the producer or the consumer. As a result, tea produced by organic farming grows more slowly, tastes more natural, and is to the highest possible degree free of chemical residues
